結果發現學校在媒體排名對於雇主選擇有一定程度的影響，而EMBA學生的GMAT分數和其學習表現的關連性也相當有限 (Gropper, 2007)。
值得留意的是學校的研究表現並不是雇主的用人評估的主要因素(Safón, 2007)，但因為仍能對學校的媒體排名表現有所影響。這或許也是許多學校在徵聘師資時會特別重視應徵者文章究竟發表在哪些期刊 (特別是那些排名當中有收錄的期刊，或同業間所認可的1st tier期刊)的主要原因吧?
